The Wyoming Peace Officer Association works hard for its members. Wyoming Peace Officers Association is made of Peace Officers, Detention Officers, Communication Personnel, Coroners, Probation and Parole, Game Wardens, Correctional Officers, Animal Control and The Wyoming Attorney General. The association’s dues are $10 a year. Your membership includes a $500 death benefit, academic scholarships and a subscription to the Wyoming Peace Officers Magazine. The association endorses the Lifeprint DNA Program and California Casualty Insurance. The association employs a Legislative Liasion who lobbies for various bills endorsed by the association. The association offers an Annual Training Conference with an emphasis on POST approved training. The conference is highlighted by its awards ceremony for Peace Officer of the Year, Dispatcher of the Year and Detention Officer of the Year. The association also supports agencies hosting training around the state by offering funds for refreshments and break out items.

The association has been and will continue to be effective in getting legislation passed that will benefit law enforcement and communications. We have employed Sam Powell as our Legislative Liasion to maintain an active role in all legislation affecting law enforcement.


Death Benefit:

Upon the death of any member in good standing, the association shall pay $500.00 to the member’s designated beneficiary or his/her estate. The includes life-time members.
